You can thank my incredible dad for the Title of this post... SO being pregnant has actually been pretty great so far, well minus a few things and really there are only a few! Logan and I recently decided to go camping with our best friends Logan and Kassidee Phillips, I of course ended up having what seemed like the worst allergy problems of my life that weekend... being in my first trimester I did not want to take any medication that wasn't my insulin (Being a protective mom apparently starts very early) and being as stubborn as I am I didn't, despite the allergy side effects we had a really great time spending time with them before they moved to North Dakota! Monday after returning from a great weekend of camping I was so excited to find that I had a HUGE cold sore...NOT! Ohhh yes I had the cold sore just not excited about it, this then turned into 3 cold sores growing together to create 1 giant quarter sized (no joke) COLD SORE..... it also caused my top lip to swelling looking like a horrible botox job gone bad.... Finally 2 weeks later its finally almost gone! I blame this on pregnancy because 1 I have NEVER had a cold sore that bad or that swelled and 2 because my Doctors office informed me that some women who get cold sores see worse and more flare ups during their pregnancy YEA ME!!
Now that I have gotten the one only real problem I have had the last 11 weeks I can also say that I have been extremely lucky when it comes to morning sickness I have had so little you may even say none that was until Monday. Its been so great to get a little queasy if I dont eat by certain times or needing to slow down a little and being tired but not actually sick.... I like to say i probably have a higher tolerance because Im diabetic and it seems really similar to when my blood sugar is high or low. I have been so blessed to be so healthy especially since I spend so much time with Ruby while her Mommy is at work but MONDAY was awful I was up every 5 to 15 minutes sick until about noon and Randi and Logan were both working all day .... I was lucky enough that my parents were able to come over from Heber for the day and help with Ruby and to help me feel a little better ... My parents are the best!
All in all this post is really me trying to say how blessed I've been to not be sick and how much I have loved being pregnant so far I really have nothing to complain about and why would I even if I was miserable the last 11 weeks there is nothing I want more than to have a baby and be a mommy!
